Sacramento County Police arrested the suspected “Golden State Killer,” Joseph James DeAngelo, who allegedly committed multiple crimes in Goleta and across California, on April 24.
Galoustian, 45, was arrested in December on four felony charges, including kidnap to commit robbery or rape, rape of a drugged victim and two counts of oral copulation by use of force or injury.
The suspect has allegedly stalked and harassed multiple women in the past week.
The suspect is not affiliated with UC Santa Barbara or Santa Barbara City College, according to SBSO spokesperson Kelly Hoover.
Law enforcement has not been able to locate the suspect, who fled the area before first responders arrived.
