UCSB Still Chasing First Conference Victory

Despite great performances in the first set of its last two matches, the UCSB women’s volleyball team has yet to end its nine-game losing streak. The Gauchos will be on the road against UC Davis tonight and rival Cal Poly on Sunday in search of their first conference win.

Gauchos Remain Motivated Heading into Conference Home Opener

After a difficult conference opening match against No. 10 Hawai’i, UCSB women’s volleyball knows the pressure is slowing rising and wins versus Cal State Northridge and No. 24 Long Beach State this weekend could be pivotal. The Gauchos’ seven-game losing slump persist, but returning to the Thunderdome may be the perfect remedy to the team’s winless streak.

Gauchos’ Inconsistencies Too Costly in Conference Opener

UCSB women’s volleyball opened its conference schedule with a road contest against No. 11 Hawai’i. The Rainbow Wahines’ sensational offense clicked on all cyinders as they recorded a .380 hitting clip for the evening. The Gauchos continue to search for their first victory since starting the season 4-1.
