On Sunday, Santa Barbara community members attended a public conversation regarding the aftermath of the Thomas Fire in December 2017 and January 2018 and the Montecito mudflows.

The event drew over 100 attendees and featured chants led by graduate student and organizer Pratik Raghu, and speeches from students and faculty members.

Two years later, the largest and most costly demand is the last one left: the designation of a free-standing building for the RCSGD.

At the center of the vigil rested a picture of Bryant and his daughter, a bouquet of flowers and a poster inscribed “RIP #24 MAMBA.”

The email comes after several UCSB students posted on the UCSB subreddit, r/UCSantaBarbara, late Sunday night with rumors about the virus.

The resolution is positional, meaning that it encourages UCSB Housing, Dining & Auxiliary Enterprises to implement these ideas to ensure students’ meal swipes are not wasted.

The discussion around Title IX focused on cases of sexual misconduct and violence on UC campuses and what the UC Title IX offices have done to address the issue.

The bill was amended during the Senate’s Jan. 22 meeting to increase the number of international student senator seats from one to two.
