‘Chos Host Rivals in Finale
The UCSB men’s basketball team was outscored by 32 total points in the second half in its last two games. It has lost three games in a row. The team is in fifth place in the Big West with a 7-8 conference record — a far cry from first, where they were predicted to end up in a conference coaches’ poll in the preseason.

With a regular season conference title on the line, the Blue-Green rivalry game just became a lot more interesting. The UCSB women’s basketball team will travel to rival Cal Poly on Saturday, in perhaps the team’s biggest game of the year, when they will have a chance to secure a Big West co-championship.
Gauchos Look to End Two-Game Skid v. Northridge
In its last home men’s volleyball match before Spring Break, #4 UCSB (10-8, 8-7 MPSF) hosts Cal State Northridge (4-13, 3-9 MPSF) tonight in Robertson Gym. The Gauchos will try to shake off back-to-back losses and return to their winning ways to secure a playoff spot in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament.

The Blue-Green Rivalry was mostly green yesterday, as the UCSB women tennis team lost to #67 Cal Poly 5-2 in its conference opener. The Gauchos fall to 5-3 overall and 0-1 in the Big West, while the Mustangs improve to 9-3 overall and 3-0 in conference.
Gauchos Aim to End Losing Streak v. Hornets
UCSB baseball will return to the only place it’s gotten wins this season when Sacramento State visits Caesar Uyesaka Stadium for a three-game series this weekend. UCSB is currently 3-3 in the season. The Hornets are 3-6.
