UCSB Takes Out Hawaii for First Home Win

Home was good to Gaucho men’s tennis for the first time this season yesterday, as the #65 Gauchos defeated #48 Hawaii 5-2 for the team’s first home win of 2011.

The UCSB women’s basketball team defeated visiting Northridge 71-52 as it honored the squad’s seniors by continuing its six-game winning streak. Senior forwards Mekia Valentine and Margaret Johnson were both recognized by standing ovations from the crowd.
