Am I the only one who picked up a free notebook from A.S. today? By free, I of course mean something I unknowingly paid for months ago via my student fees. Thank goodness in these tough economic times the A.S. is spending its money wisely by printing thousands of notebooks with pretty butterflies on the cover that no student will ever use, and then widely distributing them across campus effectively at random. Good idea guys. At least with an eco-friendly design like that the notebooks are probably recycled… oh wait.

Tomorrow’s forecast: A.S. spends the remaining student fees on an advertising campaign to extol the virtues of their notebook giveaway. Meanwhile the ‘human forks over 300 bucks for textbooks. Sweet.
