Health & Wellness hosts ‘Stress Bake and Study Break’
Health & Wellness is hosting “Stress Bake and Study Break” on Thursday, March 6, from 1-3 p.m. at the Student Resource Building (SRB) Multipurpose Room (MPR).
“Need a sweet treat to get through finals? Come bake some well-deserved oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and learn new stress management tips to help navigate exam season!” the Shoreline description read.

Women’s Center holds ‘My Body My Brew’
Women’s Center is holding “My Body My Brew,” a workshop about herbalism, menstruation and reproductive justice, on Thursday, March 6, from 3-5 p.m. at Las Maestras Center.
“Join us as we welcome Hood Herbalism to lead us in a workshop engaging with reproductive justice as we make massage oils and herbal teas for menstrual care!” the Shoreline description read.
The workshop will be led by Hood Herbalism, a Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) community herbal education project. Materials will be provided.
Non-Traditional Student Resource Center hosts Spring Crafts
The Non-Traditional Student Resource Center is hosting a spring crafts event on Thursday, March 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Storke Family Housing Community Center.
“Crafts include cards and makeshift flowers. This event is intended for [UC Santa Barbara] student parents and their children, but open to all!” the Shoreline description read.

RHA holds ‘Paint Your Pride’

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is hosting “Jeffrey’s Jazz Coffeehouse” on Friday, March 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 910 Embarcadero del Norte.
“[Jeffrey’s Jazz Coffeehouse] is a collaboration among artists, musicians, cultural and black studies scholars, and local intellectuals to achieve something broader than creating entertainment spaces in Isla Vista,” the Shoreline description read.

Persian Student Group holds annual Nowruz Show
Persian Student Group is holding its annual Nowruz Show on Friday, March 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Campbell Hall.
“The evening will be filled with traditional Persian music, dance, and poetry as well as student performances!” the Instagram description read.
Tickets are free for UCSB students and $10 for non-UCSB students. All proceeds will go to the Mahsa Amini Graduate Fellowship.
Unity in Diversity Graduate Network hosts social justice book club
Unity in Diversity Graduate Network is hosting a social justice book club on Saturday, March 8, from 6-7 p.m. at San Clemente Graduate Student Apartments.
The book this month is “My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Heart and Bodies” by Resmaa Menakem. Limited copies of the book will be available and food will be provided.
Laughology hosts Nimesh Patel
Laughology is hosting a comedy night with Nimesh Patel on Saturday, March 8, from 8-10:15 p.m. at Campbell Hall.
