The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crime in progress resulting in two stabbings on August 13 at 1:15 a.m. in the area ranging east to west from Camino Pescadero to Camino Del Sur and the area north to south from Sueno Road to Pasado Road. No arrests have been made yet.

The two suspects in question are described to be a Hispanic male adult, 20-25 years old in a white shirt and baggy clothing, as well as a Hispanic male adult, 20-25 years old in a Raiders jersey and baggy clothing. 

The University of California Police Department put out a secure in-place order at 1:15 a.m. and requested that people avoid the area while law enforcement agencies did a thorough search. This order was lifted at 2:28 a.m. with a warning to remain cautious until the suspects are taken into custody.

The suspects were not confirmed to be students of UC Santa Barbara nor Santa Barbara City College.
