So, the Weatherhuman was thinking today (dangerous, I know), and what’s up with the combination letters “ch”? I mean, they make this really obscure sound, like a “tsh” in “cheese.” But not always. Sometimes they just make a solid “k” sound, like in “masochist.” Then you get random words like “chandelier,” where they make the “sh” sound. Now come on, this is just getting ridiculous. I mean, what the fuck, “ch”? Can’t you just make up your damn mind?
