Today I’m going to get on my soap box real quick, because something’s bugging me. Now I know all you students did a great job with fire response and help, etc. The university, too, was on the ball for the most part. But what bothered me was the constant messages about conserving water and the like, while the sprinklers on this campus were going balls to the wall crazy the entire time. I know our lawns must be pristine at all costs, but couldn’t we at least employ a single person to… I don’t know… wander around and turn off the scores of sprinklers that have been hyrdrating the sidewalk? Just a thought.

Tomorrow’s forecast: Isla Vistans, reading the weather whilst organizing a joint wet tee shirt contest slip & slide party, let out a hearty “hear hear!”
