Changing its tune from an original refusal, MySpace has agreed to cooperate with a myriad of attorneys general across the country and hand over information gathered about identified sex offenders with profiles on the popular social networking site. Various prosecutors claim that perverts use the network to hook up with children.
Meanwhile, MySpace says that it has already begun a process of removing sex offenders’ profiles, and North Carolina legislators are considering a law to make minors obtain parental consent before registering. If these two measures are successful, the only content left on the site will be shitty band pages and singles’ classifieds.

Tuesday’s Forecast: Facebook agrees to turn in students who skip class to watch Newsfeed updates, and subsequently goes bankrupt.
