The Senate passed two pieces of legislation during the meeting: ‘A Resolution to Establish a Temporary Controls and Compliance Committee’ and ‘A Resolution in Support of Extending the Pass-no-Pass Deadline.’
Members of World Dance for Humanity and Women’s March Santa Barbara partnered for a dance rally during the event to mark International Women’s Day.
The research will be based on surveys sent to AANHPI students at UCSB, which will survey food, housing, mental health and other relevant topics.
The fellowship is currently in its initial stages, and its proprietors are working to establish requirements and other details of the opportunity.
International students are required to obtain an F-1 visa to study in a university or college in the United States, as per the United States Department of State.
The Senate did not pass any legislation during the meeting.
The bill was introduced during the Senate’s March 1 meeting, and indefinitely tabled after discussion.
The celebration was held in the I.V. Community Center on Feb. 28
