It’s been a heavy week, huh? You need a laugh. I’ve got just that for you. Apparently, in Lake Mary, Florida, you have to wear your pants all the time. I know, how ridiculous. I was wandering around cnn.com and I saw the headline “Man Gets Coffee Without Pants” in the “Video-Breaking News” section. Is this really important enough to be dubbed “breaking news?” Curious, I clicked on it and I discovered what must be the most riveting news story of the day.

An unknown man pulled his car up to the drive-thru at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Lake Mary. He ordered a coffee, like usual, and drove up to the window. The employee gave him the coffee, then looked down to see his little soldier, happily free as a bird. He finished the transaction – sans pants – and drove off.

This isn’t the first time he’s done it. No, this man has gotten his coffee four times without any undies. It’s really starting to weird-out the employees. One of them said, “That’s a no-no!” A customer, however, is down for nudity in the drive- thru. “Hey, you know, nowadays, you see it all,” Maureen Lucie said.

I think Maureen’s on the right track. If you want to be naked while you pump caffeine through your veins, go right ahead. This is a free country. Who am I to stop you from doing what you love?

On a separate but related note, CNN “Money” says Lake Mary is the fourth best place to live in the country. CNN cites Lake Mary’s “small-town feel.” The list mentioned nothing about feeling small-towners. Zing!
