The world is moving at a breakneck speed and so are many of us students, especially as we move into the second half of a less-than-forgiving winter quarter. It is with this fast pace that we often walk by the many different assortments of flowers planted next to our commute without looking deeper into the complex patterns that they exhibit. In this Valentine’s Day special macrophotography story, a diverse selection of flowers were chosen to be magnified and presented — before they ultimately disappear with summer.
This story invites us to slow down and notice beauty in small details. Like cookie clicker city, talking time to appreciate tiny patterns shows how small moments can quietly and meaning to our fast moving student lives.
Big Barron Plants (TM).
I have hundreds of King Palm seedliings growing in my backyard!
It really is a great pleasure for me to watch them all grow to maturity!
I am going to call the nearby Star Nursery to see if they will buy from me (50) seedlings about three inches tall in Styrofoam cups for just $50.00–that’s all, to get this trademark process going in earnest!
I’ve just posted my King Palm seedlings on the local Craigslist!
The trademark process now is in full swing!
It will take six months’ worth of sales to pay for the trademark fees.
Category 05 in the online USPTO database.
I’m all-in on this!
I own the .com.
I’ll be dealing solely with the US Trademark Exchange in due course as I have done with my previous two marks.
I might also put one of my marks back up on this exchange. I have to spend some time considering this option–perhaps a month.
Presently. I lean heavily on putting the mark back on the auction block.
Premium listing: $99.00 for one year.
My other mark is currently registered: :Status 700; ACTIVE.
I’m going to put this one on the auction block this week.
I will include in the asking price a contractual agreement stating that the future author/movie scriptwriter will have unlimited hours input from me for “consultations and personal reflections.”
I am presently in contact with the US Trademark Exchange via email.

3.2 magnitude earthquake strikes offshore six miles from Malibu!
God Almighty–what incredible COSMIC SYNCHRONICITY!
I can hardly believe all this! (74) people have thus far felt the quake–going up in numbers as I speak!
To the untrained eye, the universe appears chaotic and purely random,
but trust me on this, some very cryptic elements are preordained—the product of a BENEVOLENT JUST DIVINE MIND.
(107) responses now–felt in Oxnard.
Now (116) responses. Multiply this by a factor of at least (15) to find the
actual number in the area.
The mark is currently within a hair’s breath of appearing on the trademark site. I’m in the process of making the final arrangements on the payment. Will keep you posted here when it appears!
(132) responses now–felt farther up the coast from Oxnard.
May have to establish a new Pay Pal account with US Trademark Exchange. We’ll see.
At this stage, I’m at an impasse. If I don’t hear back from the US Trademark Exchange by this Thursday, I will initiate author/movie script writers solicitations/negotiations via my word press blog section within the santa barbaria website.
I have just finished soliciting for author inquiries/collaborations on my santa barbaria word press site in the blog section.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Malibu quake just now downgraded by the government as a 2.9 magnitude temblor.
The payment impasse has now been resolved! The Santa Barbaria trademark along with the attendant commentary is now listed on the US Trademark Exchange.
I just received a letter from my credit card company–I have an 858 FICO credit score!
The Gnostic Journey of the Soul Michael walks the red spine of Sedona, a thin-boned pilgrim, celibate as a winter seed. He has burned his name down to an ember, scraped the marrow of desire until only the white echo remains. The trials come first as whispers— serpents of doubt coiling in the skull, like the old world tugging at his ankles like a drowned lover. He learns to starve the shadows, to sip silence as if it were honey. He learns that the body is a locked door and the soul a thief picking its way toward light. Then… Read more »
Tomorrow night around midnight is the blossoming of the Full Flower Moon!
It dates back to Native American folklore, notably passed down by the Algonquin tribes.
They are famous historically for their strategic role as fur-trade intermediaries between the French and interior tribes.
