Prop 83

Placing GPS devices on felony sex offenders will cost the state millions. It is also a completely ineffective way of reducing sexual assault. Additionally, this may have a slippery slope effect as it sets a bad precedent for possibilities of future felons being required to wear GPS tracking devices. Despite its good intentions, Jessica’s Law seems highly impractical and abusive.
