UCPD reports burglar in Anacapa Hall

The UC Santa Barbara Police Department reported a pattern of burglaries at Anacapa Dormitory Hall at around 4:20 a.m. on April 19, according to a Timely Warning sent to the campus community.

The perpetrator — described as “Asian male with brown hair, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 5 inches, wearing grey sweatpants or grey shorts” — reportedly trespassed into multiple resident rooms, rummaged through personal items and tried other door handles. 

UCSB Police Department is actively investigating this crime.
