Presented for its first fall intensive musical, Shrunken Heads Production Company produced showings of A Legacy of Stone from October 16-18 at Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. Inspired by the myths of Medusa, this musical explores the interpersonal dynamics of responsibility and autonomy in the midst of tense conversations, deep sorrow and fear, and the occasional upbeat singing from Perseus. With the orchestra freed from the pit, the cast expresses their character’s personality and struggles in front of a cheering audience after the end of each song.
