Two burglaries occurred overnight on Oct. 10-11 near Storke Family Housing Apartments and the Santa Ynez Apartments, according to a UCSB Timely Warning at 12:39 p.m. Several items, including tools and home improvement fixtures, were stolen.

The first burglary occurred at the overflow storage lot between Mesa Road and Los Carneros, near the Storke Family Housing Apartments. Several home improvement fixtures were stolen from multiple storage units.
The second burglary occurred at a workshop at the north end of the Santa Ynez Apartments. Tools and other items were taken from the workshop.
In addition to these burglary reports, an unspecified amount of UCSB utility vehicles parked near the workshop were broken into, and items were taken from the vehicles.
The report said there is no suspect information at this time. The UC Santa Barbara Police Department is currently investigating these crimes.
