“It’s not the same without him,” said Donald “Joker” Trump, following the loss of his rival, Joe Batman. 

Joe Batman went missing after his public statement claiming he will no longer serve as the Bat for his city. Citizens have been living in fear as Joker has the complete freedom to take control of our beloved town. But— Joker claims he has no intention of harming the city. 

“It’s pointless now. With BatJoe gone, it’s like… I’m not really sure why I started doing this in the first place,” said JokerTrump. 

Despite previous claims that Joker intended to rob the bank, laugh menacingly near civilians, and hijack all speakers only to play one of his many evil monologues, nothing bad has happened. Many wonder if this is Batman’s clever plan to stop Joker, but others aren’t so sure, worried about the potential for disaster. The city held its breath ever since Batman went silent, but now, there’s renewed hope. 

“I’m ready to give Gotham my all. I’m the brat this city needs!” said Kamala “Robin” Harris. 

Although many fear the future without Batman, his trusty sidekick Robin is the best that the city has. With nobody else to defend civilians against Joker’s evil plans, the city looks to Robin in hopes of a brighter future. Already, Robin has been seen defending the streets from crime, taking on the role of a cop all too well. 

“Fighting Robin is not even close to fighting Batman. Anyone who disagrees is an idiot. I can take Robin, easy, no question. A robin is just a dumb bird. Batman and I… we had something special,” said Joker, in response to the rise of new competition. 

Though the city has yet to hear from Batman, sources close to the Bat have claimed to hear snoring coming from inside the BatCave, proving that he may have only needed a quick nap before he’s ready to jump back into action.
