Cook a Free Meal for the Community

Food Not Bombs is sponsoring a Cook a Free Meal for the Community event this Sunday. Rumor has it that boiling water can cleanse a lot more than germs (sins). Come help cook for your community and stop by 777 Camino Pescadero at 2:30 p.m., when the cooking commences. At 5 p.m., you can serve the food at Little Acorn Park. After the cooking is done, clean those sins away (just kidding, the kitchen) at 6:15 p.m. back at 777 Camino Pescadero. The organization is always in need of new volunteers and cooks for vegan-only food using donations from farmer’s markets and the Isla Vista Co-op.
