A 20-year-old UC Santa Barbara student was arrested on campus for stalking charges last week, according to arrest logs.

University of California Police Department (UCPD) deputies arrested the student, Renzhou Zhang, at Girvetz Hall around 1:03 p.m. on Oct. 15.

Zhang is a first-year pre-mathematical sciences major, according to UCSB student verification logs.

He is currently living in an on-campus residence hall.

He was initially booked on a $150,000 bail at the Santa Barbara Jail. He has not been released as of Monday.

UCPD did not respond to multiple requests for further information regarding this incident.
