A 22-year-old UC Santa Barbara student and Isla Vista resident was arrested Tuesday after using his cell phone to film another person in a restroom at the UCSB Library.
Winfred Chuancheng Huang, a fourth-year computer engineering major, is being charged for invasion of privacy after secretly filming a person in a restroom at the UCSB Library, according to UCSB Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Rob Romero.
Huang was arrested and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on June 12 on a $2,500 bail.
Huang was released from jail on Tuesday evening with a pending court date in July, Romero said.
