A woman was reportedly groped at Campus Point on Sunday morning, according to the UC Santa Barbara Police Department.

The victim reported that an unfamiliar man “grabbed her buttocks” at approximately 10:20 a.m. while she was at Campus Point, according to a UCPD timely alert sent out Sunday evening.

The suspect in the alert is described as a white male adult in his mid-to-late 20s, between 160 and 180 lbs. and 5’11” with short brown hair.

It is currently unknown if he is affiliated with UCSB, according to the alert.

The suspect was last seen walking westward from Campus Point wearing a maroon hoodie with white text on the back. He was also in possession of a black bicycle, according to the alert.

The police searched the beaches following the report but were unable to find the suspect.
