Santa Barbara police arrested four suspects in a separate strong-armed robbery and separate stabbing on Sunday in Isla Vista.
At approximately 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, Isla Vista Foot Patrol (IVFP) deputies responded to a strong-armed robbery near the intersection of Pardall Road and Camino Pescadero. A 28-year-old male victim said he was assaulted and robbed by a male suspect. The victim was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
Officers from IVFP, UCPD and the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office (SBSO) began searching for the suspect and apprehended him on the 900 block of Camino Pescadero after a foot chase. Ignacio Sanchez Reyes, 22, was arrested for robbery.
Approximately one hour later, officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the 6500 block of Del Playa Drive. A 21-year-old male Isla Vista resident was suffering from a stab wound at the scene. He was treated by emergency personnel and transported to the hospital.

My money is on illegals
You were correct.
Fuck you
You are an ignorant ass
They’re probably half blonde. Would explain their stupidity
When I told people that Trump was correct, they were shocked. When a crime is committed in the Santa Barbara area, and makes the news, I am a bit surprised when they are not hispanic. Obviously these four losers need 20 years to think about why it’s easier to rob people in Mexico.
Keep hiding behind a screen piece of shut, and no shit, poverty leads people to commit crime. Stupid fuckers
Lack of morals leads to crime. I’ve been poor and robbed nobody.
Who’s hiding behind a screen Anonymous? Cowards with masks.
No. IQ is more of a predictor of crime than socioeconomic status.
When a crime is committed in the United States, and makes the news, I am a bit surprised when they are not white.
It is latinx by the way, not hispanic
It’s hispanic. Don’t care what you think.
Wow it’s almost like ~75% (maybe, at this point) of the country is white so obviously you will see a lot of white crimes.
Agreed. Per the US DOJ in 2017 approximately 41,000 illegal aliens are in federal prisons. That’s a lot of criminals that cost money to incarcerate, and a lot of crimes that would not have occurred if we enforced our existing (and very fair) immigration laws.
That’s less than 1%, please tell me how this is a MAJOR issue?
How come you are defending criminals? How come you can’t add? See there’s this thing called a state prison, too. How come you want to spend anything on prisons? Every penny we spend there is a waste of some law abiding citizens time and money. And yeah, we need them, but for my part less is better. And oh by the way, you might consider how the victims of these illegal criminals feel about what happened to them. I expect you wouldn’t pay attention to what happened to Kate Steinle.
Probably a major issue for those that were stabbed. Or for those that send their children to UCSB.
Wow, so literally the police ran into the 3 guys, who said they were with the suspect but not anymore, and then 1 hour later they stabbed someone, then got caught.
Wow! Reality of illegal crime hitting those who defend them most. Ironic.
