A death occurred on Del Playa Drive this past Saturday at 9:45 a.m. when Isla Vista Foot Patrol received a call of an unresponsive individual and found the individual deceased upon arrival, according to Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Kelly Hoover. According to IVFP Lieutenant Rob Plastino, “all revival efforts were unsuccessful” and further details cannot be released until next of kin have been notified. As of press time, the individual’s family has yet to be notified, Plastino said.
