UCSB’s two-day Fall Career Fair kicks off today in Corwin Pavilion, with “Science, Technology and Engineering Day” beginning today from 1 to 4 p.m. and an “All Major Day” tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m.
While the career fair begins at 1 p.m. for general admission, particularly ambitious students can enter at noon if they bring a resume critiqued from drop-in career counseling, dress professionally and know which potential employers they would like to speak to.
Throughout the two-day event, 98 employers from various industries, as well as government and nonprofit sectors, will attend.
Employers in attendance include Amazon.com, AT&T, CA Dept. of Social Services, Google Inc., Intel Corporation, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Macy’s Inc., Microsoft, Oracle, Panda Express, Progressive Insurance, Rosetta, SanDisk Corporation, Square 1 Bank, Target, Teach for America, the United States Marine Corps, Western Digital and Yelp.com.
