The developers behind ICON UCSB will open a new 30-unit apartment complex called Icon Gardens on Seville Road this upcoming fall.

ICON established its presence in Isla Vista last fall with the opening of ICON UCSB at 6545 Trigo Road. The new development project is slated to open on 6530 Seville Road, only half a block from the UCSB campus and three blocks from the beach.

All of the units at the Gardens will be fully furnished, featuring open kitchens complete with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wood-style flooring and modern design. High-speed internet — both wired and wireless — will be available in each room, along with cable and a 40” flat screen television.

Other complex-wide amenities will include a fitness center, study lounge and rooftop yoga deck complete with ocean and mountainside views. Icon Gardens will also include a ground-floor retail plaza.

Like ICON UCSB, the Gardens will provide residents with extensive safety features, including private and gated parking for cars and bicycles.

Students living at Icon Gardens can benefit from membership to WeCar, an environmentally friendly car sharing program that allows users to rent a car for anywhere from an hour to the course of a weekend.

Tenants can choose between studio rooms, one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments or three-bedroom apartments, with most featuring balconies or sundecks.

Interested students can visit the leasing center, located at 6545 Trigo Road, for pricing options and additional information.
