The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Dept. provided a description of a possible suspect in connection with the death of Vincent Velasquez, a 26-year old Santa Barbara resident who was fatally stabbed on the 6600 block of Abrego Road early Sunday morning.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Dept., authorities are searching for one suspect identified as a Hispanic male in his 20s between 5’7” and 5’9” with a weight of 150 to 185 pounds. The suspect is believed to have short hair and some facial hair and was wearing a long-sleeve, button-up checkered shirt and dark pants when the crime occurred. Detectives are also looking for a heavyset Hispanic female with dark hair who was believed to be in the company of the suspect.
