Sam Raimi’s first true horror movie since directing the “Spider Man” trilogy tells the story of an ambitious bank worker who gets cursed by an angry customer. Filled with the typical cheese and B-movie gore of Raimi’s older horror films, this movie leaves the viewer both afraid and amused up until its unexpected ending. The movie includes summoning a demon into a goat, which then goes psycho and chomps a dude’s hand; a gypsy searching around the car for her lost teeth after biting Alison Lohman’s delicious ginger face; and Dileep Rao acting unspeakably creepy as the improbably helpful random psychic that Lohman and the Mac guy implicitly trust for no good reason.
