It might not look like much from the outside, but the Hard to Find Showspace is a local legend. Bigger than beloved venues like the Biko Co-op or the Pink Mailbox, the music venue run by brothers Josh and Tim Eymann will undoubtedly attract hordes of local music enthusiasts from all over Santa Barbara (more accessible parking than in I.V. doesn’t hurt). The showspace re-opened for business last month, and has already assembled an impressive lineup. I saw Pixies frontman Frank Black play a sold-out performance before an enthusiastic crowd there just last weekend.

The Hard to Find originally opened back in 2001, has been closed since late 2006. Located at 7450 Hollister Avenue, almost right across from Albertsons, the space has played host to nationally known acts like Hot Hot Heat, Pinback and many more… all for reasonable ticket prices.

Upcoming shows include K-Records singer-songwriter Mirah (Feb. 20) and The Fresh and Onlys with Wounded Lion (March 12).
