The intersection of Camino Pescadero and Seville Road was the site of an alleged rape attempt this weekend during an alleged drug deal.

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Dept. is currently investigating the alleged rape attempt that occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday. According to authorities, the woman was supposedly attempting to buy drugs from a known drug dealer when the assailant pulled the female into his car and tried to sexually force himself upon her, partially ripping her clothing. The woman fought off her purported attacker and escaped from the car.
