I see that once again the Daily Nexus jumps on another chance to cast shame upon the minority community. What a treat to open the paper and see an arrest of a person of color captured in photo for the world to see. Why is it that photographs, race and original hometown – see Edidong Udo (“Student Arrested for Sexual Assault: Francisco Torres Resident Allegedly Attacks Up to Six Women in Dorm, I.V.,” Daily Nexus, Sept. 29, “Investigation Continues in FT Assault Case,” Daily Nexus, Oct. 1) – are provided only when the perpetrator is a person of color?
