The Halloween flyer was intended to increase student awareness about current Isla Vista laws and regulations. After discussing the Halloween flyer with several students, I became aware that the letter was framed in a negative and condescending tone to some of the readers. I apologize to anyone that it might have offended. As a point of clarification, Logan Green’s name appeared in the e-mail as a reference to assist other students who may have had questions or concerns regarding safety issues and resources that are available within the broader Santa Barbara community.
