I love Google. More specifically, I love their corporate advertising scheme. A friend of mine mentioned the other day that several character actors at Disney World had sued the company because their costumes required that they wear special underwear that the theme park refused to wash. As a result, Mickey and several of his friends contracted severe cases of scabies and pubic lice.

As it turns out, this is all true, but I couldn’t believe it at the time, so I searched online to see if I could bring up a news article on the subject. I typed in “Disney World Scabies,” and got an ad offering me great deals on a trip to Disney World. I thought this might be an isolated incident, so I typed in “Nike Child Labor,” and received an offer for discount shoes at JCPenney, then “Jack in the Box Poisoning” and got an ad for Jack in the Box kids meal toys.

Tuesday’s forecast: Damage control.
