Postage goes up because of people like me. I only buy stamps out of absolute necessity, and I refuse to purchase an entire book of them for any reason.

But, as those of you in the dorms may already know, buying stamps at a postoffice window is a dangerous proposition, The postal workers seem to think it’s funny to give you the worst possible stamp for any occassion.

whenever I have to send a card to a psychotic ex, I’m sure to get a stamp with hearts on it. When I mail a valentine, I get a stamp with fruit bats on it. At least I missed out on the “Neuter or Spay Commeremorative Collection.” (Not a joke.)

What happened to good old American flag stamps?
