Ethics for Sale

I bought the reader for my ethics course today for $90. It’s nonrefundable. I can’t sell it back. And when I balance my checkbook, I’ll probably find I can’t eat either.

Let’s review:

Ninety dollars.

Now, if you happen to be the professor for this course, I hope this strikes you as odd. If not, perhaps you should find a new course to teach. I’m thinking “Price Gouging 101.” It has a nice ring to it.

Wednesday’s Forecast: If I’m pissed off, but he’s twice as happy, the system still works. It’s called Utilitarianism. But be angry with me and we’ll tip the scales.
