Gonzalo Arambula, a 42-year-old Goleta resident, was arrested on Dec. 31 for sexually assaulting three juveniles between 1991 and 1998.

One of the victims reported the incidents to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Dept. on Dec. 12, Lt. Jim Dollar said. Investigators, who booked Arambula on continuous lewd conduct with a child and sodomy, believe the crimes occurred in Isla Vista and Santa Barbara and that there were “multiple incidents of sexual assault” during the seven-year period, Dollar said.

“The initial report was from one of the victims who was a juvenile at the time [of the assaults],” he said. “There are only three cases as far as we know.”

Dollar said the case has been submitted to the district attorney’s office for consideration. Arambula is being held on $60,000 bail at Santa Barbara County Jail.
