Camino Corto and Camino Pescadero will be closed to parking and traffic today and tomorrow, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., while the county continues work on Isla Vista roads.

Cars parked on the streets during work hours will be towed by the California Highway Patrol at the owner’s expense. The Goleta division of the CHP can be contacted at 967-1234.

Santa Barbara County allocated approximately $1.1 million for the repaving of roads in the summer of 2000. Work has already been completed on Sabado Tarde Road, El Colegio Road and the Embarcadero loop. Los Carneros Road, Del Playa Drive and Trigo Road are among the others slated for repairs during 2002.

The county has also allocated $100,000 for sidewalk work on the 6500 block of Del Playa, Sabado Tarde and the end of the Embarcadero loop.
