There are two ways I write a college paper.

The first way is a frenzy of last minute research followed by a paper that is in no way good, but not worse than the usual bullshit.

The second way is to try and start early, plan out the paper, think about checking out books, worry about how I’ve yet to start that paper.

I was going to start early, and then a frenzy of last minute research producing the usual pile of bullshit.
