A male suspect robbed the K-Mart located on Hollister Avenue Thursday at 2:38 p.m.

The suspect went through the gardening center entrance and informed the cashier that he had a gun and demanded the money in the cash register. After receiving the money, which totaled approximately $300, he fled toward Los Carneros Road.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult about 5’8″ to 6′ tall, 130 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue bandana, which was pulled down over his eyebrows.

After arriving on the scene, sheriff’s investigators were able to produce a composite photograph of the suspect using testimonies from witnesses.

During the robbery, no witnesses or employees saw a gun. No one was injured.
