Two UCSB students were reportedly attacked in the parking lot behind Isla Vista Theater on Sunday morning.

The two men were walking in the parking lot when they were assaulted and robbed by a group of three to five males and two females, according to University of California Police. One victim was reportedly hit on the head with a metal object, and another victim reported a missing wallet after the assault.

One of the suspects was described as a 5′ 10″ light-skinned male with a shaved head, wearing a dark blue crew neck sweatshirt without a logo and khaki-colored pants.

The two victims received medical attention at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for injuries suffered during the attack.

Police received information from Cottage Hospital’s emergency department and an anonymous call, but all participants had left the scene by the time police arrived, Capt. Mike Foster said.
