I hate people.

Especially in elevators. When you enter an elevator, you are implicitly agreeing to a few basic social responsibilities.

Many know to avoid eye contact, physical contact and verbal contact at all costs. However, it seems that only the most civilized passengers grasp the cardinal rule: elevator travel is only acceptable for trips of three floors or greater.

People who may violate the cardinal rule are one of the following:

a) Physically handicapped

b) Subject to verbal harassment/physical abuse

c) Stoned. Really stoned.

Please make a note of it.

Thursday’s forecast: Clear skies, but may lightning strike you down if you violate the cardinal rule.
