Vaughan Davies of Urbanus Architects, Los Angeles; and Daniel Darolek of Envision Design, Berkeley.

After being chosen from 29 international entries in the first phase of the Master Plan process, the five finalists have each received a $10,000 honorarium to cover the costs of refining their proposals before resubmitting them Feb. 12. The finalists’ designs will remain on display in the UCen until Dec. 1, and will be open to community comment Monday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. at I.V. Elementary School, located at 6875 El Colegio Rd.
