UC Santa Barbara students came together on Thursday to mourn the 176 lives lost in the Ukrainian International Airlines Flight 752 plane crash in Iran on Jan. 8. A group of about 30 people lit candles while delivering — both in Farsi and in English — a unifying message: separate from religion or political party, the loss is devastating to all.
