The famous S’mores Dip that is all over Facebook, Twitter and Instagram is a sweet and delicious dessert for you and your friends to try at home. This dish incorporates all parts of the classic s’mores snack in a new and revolutionary way. It takes a turn on the traditional camping treat into one that is classy and fun. The simplicity and affordability of this dish can appeal to any college student, as the only ingredients needed are marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.

After preheating the oven to 450 degrees, attain a skillet or oven-safe pan and spray a light coat of cooking oil to its surface. Then, add chocolate chips to fill the bottom of the pan or skillet. If you are using a pan, make sure it is heat-safe, as the entire thing will be put into the oven. Place the pan on the stove and gradually melt the chocolate until it creates a nice smooth layer on the bottom of the pan then add marshmallows on top and place it in the oven. Keep the dish in the oven for 6-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows turn golden brown. Take the dish out and use the graham cracker squares as the “dippers” in your sweet and creamy dip. Be sure to wait a few minutes before digging in, as the dip will be extremely hot.

While in the oven, the room fills with a thick, sweet aroma. The dip itself brings a smooth and creamy taste that blends well with the crunchy graham crackers. The dip melts in your mouth, bringing a perfect s’mores consistency. You and your friends will be amazed on how easy and palatable this dessert is. I would definitely recommend this dish to anyone who likes sweets, or wants to impress their friends with a group-sized, sweet treat.
