Freddie Freeman gets paid, big time. The contract is for eight years and $125 million at least. This is a good investment for the Atlanta Braves. They’re showing they’re committed to rebuilding what worked for them during their old dynasty days.

Their lineup is solid, especially if third baseman Chris Johnson has another outstanding season and centerfielder BJ Upton plays up to his potential. They have players with All-Star potential all across the board.

All that’s missing is one more top tier pitcher. Keep David Price in mind if the Braves are looking to make a major addition come mid-season.
