In the past 25-plus years, I have grown to know Victoria Pointer in areas where many others have lacked the privilege. Throughout the course of my relationship with Victoria Pointer, I have been continually humbled by her integrity, attitude and the impermeability of moral fabric shrouding her character. She challenges notions most people see as inflexible. She listens. She empathizes. She cares.

Among the many attributes she possesses, it is her objectivity, passion and willingness to stand up for what is right that has shaped her into one of the most credible and principled social and political advocates in the Santa Barbara region. I may have more faith in Victoria Pointer than the average voter, but my assurances in her come with considerable merit. She was there when the first words came from my tiny lips. She was there when I took my first steps. She was there when I graduated high school, then college and she was there at the important moments in between. Throughout my life, my mother has always instilled in me the desire to be the best person I can possibly be and along the way she’s led by example. In the lifetime I’ve known Victoria Pointer she hasn’t let me down. A vote for Victoria Pointer for the 3rd District County Board of Supervisors on June 3 will mean you can count on the same trustworthiness.
