The race for 3rd District supervisor is getting heated, with even the Nexus joining in yesterday with an endorsement of Steve Pappas – and beer. While I won’t make my own endorsement for fear of being yelled at by my editors, I would like to congratulate one candidate.

Dr. David Bearman, I don’t even care if you win, I just want to thank you for giving me two months’ worth of jokes. I can’t even remember the last time I walked past one of your campaign signs without thinking about the ManBearPig or the Threatdown. Good times. The fact that you have a doctorate in being a Bearman only makes it better. Rawwwr. If only Colbert knew about this race…
