I guess some bridge in SF fell or something, because the bitching from that part of the state has gotten a whole lot louder. Last month, the San Francisco county and city supervisors voted 10 to 1 to ban plastic bags from supermarkets, forever ending the age-old question of whether the ‘human should empty more plastic trash into a landfill or just have more trees cut down in order to package its groceries. Thank goodness someone stepped in. Let’s get some caramel macchiatos in a throwaway venti cup with heat wrappers to celebrate.

Monday’s Forecast: The Supervisors decide not to force reusable Starbucks cups on their citizens, citing how it may really annoy them.
