I am so proud of our UCSB students, staff and faculty! Thursday’s demonstration against the Bush/Cheney wars showed their courage and commitment to preventing the ignition of World War III. The war profiteers’ killing machine is insatiable, and it jeopardizes the lives of all of our children and grandchildren. These so-called elected leaders have disregarded the will of the people and of Congress. Let’s all stand together to rid our country of them and, above all, war. Let us, together, bring back our democracy.
